    This is it....

Right now I am sitting on the floor playing with Hannah drinking a cup of coffee, watching the today show and blogging, its fantastic and it could be the last time I get to do this. I cannot believe it is time for me to go back to work! I also can't believe we have a 10 week old daughter!! I am so going to miss these mornings, she talks to me and cuddles with me and she just does not do that as much in the evenings. I am very fortunate to have been able to take as much time off as I did and I am also very fortunate to be going back to a job and people that I really like but all that being said I would stay home with Hannah in a heartbeat if I could! I am just starting to get the hang of actually getting things done around the house and going out to do things with Hannah.
This weekend we are having Hannah baptised which means family is coming in town and I am really looking forward to that. I am hoping that the baptism will distract me from the reality of going back to work! Hannah is wearing the baptism gown that Amy (Chuck's youngest sister) wore when she was baptised and she is being baptised by the same priest that baptised Chuck and married us.
Well, I will post some more pictures when I get them but now I am going to go play with Hannah.....

    Where does the time go??

Saturday Hannah was 8 weeks old! I cannot believe it has been 8 weeks! I don't know where the time has gone. This milestone also means that the count down to going back to work and the dreaded daycare has begun. Fortunately I enjoy my job so that makes that part a little easier and we have 2 wonderful grandmas that are going to help us out until March so the going back to work and the going to daycare don't have to start on the same day!!
Enough of the not so fun stuff....
Since Hannah is 8 weeks old she has grown so much and she is so much fun! She is sleeping so much better at night, not through the night but better, this means I can almost be considered a functional adult again. And she smiles at you now and its the most wonderful smile you have ever seen!! Here are some pics...

Transitioning back to the real world....

Ok, well I have not blogged in a while and a ton has happened. I figure since I have 4 weeks until I go back to work that regardless of the amount of sleep I get at night I need to try and get into some kind of routine and get back to doing the things I have always done...blogging, running and actually getting out into the real world.
Anyways, since I have blogged we have had babies first Christmas...now she had no clue what was going on but she managed to get a ton of great stuff and it was lots of fun to have her around. Christmas also meant Hannah's first long trip in the car, we spent Christmas at my moms. She traveled great and actually slept great while we were there. Here are some pics from Christmas..

    Another first...
Since I am going back to work in a few weeks we have given Hannah her first bottle, we don't do it very often but we wanted to make sure she actually took one...this also meant that Chuck got to feed her. Hannah is just a good eater all around so she took to the bottle like a champ...

Hannah is 7 weeks old, which is very hard to believe, I have no idea where the weeks went....Its amazing how much she has grown and all the things she can do now....She smiles all the time which makes the long nights seem not quite so bad. We are working on some kind of routine, hopefully this will make her sleep better at night...crossing my fingers..

    1 Month Old......

Well it's hard to believe that our daughter is one month old today! It has probably been one of the hardest months of my life but it has also been the most incredible!! We have learned so much and I just couldn't imagine our life without her anymore!
Some of the things I have learned...
    1. There are actually good shows on tv at all hours of the night.
    2. The couch in the basement isn't a bad place to sleep.
    3. Days fly by when they are sectioned off in 2 hour increments.
    4. I have an amazing husband (this part I already knew), but I didn't know he would be the one to keep me sane through a never ending night of feeding and crying!

This is a big week for Hannah.
-Today was her 1 month doctors appointment. The doctor says she looks great. The day she was born she was 7lbs 5 oz., and 20 inches long, today she was 9 lbs 4 oz. and 21 inches long.
-Hannah got to try her first bottle yesterday, I finally got my breastpump so we decided to give the bottle thing a try. Some babies struggle with the bottle if they have been breast fed so I wanted to start this early so it was one less thing I had to stress about when I start worrying about going back to work.
-Hannah's first Christmas!! Now I know she isn't really going to care much about Christmas but it is going to make Christmas so much more fun with her around!
