Happy St. Patrick's Day...
Hannah is definitely not old enough to enjoy a green beer on St. Patty's Day, but she still knows how to have a good time!!!

Birthday Weekend....
We had a fun weekend and hopefully it is just kicking off what is going to be a very fun week! We started Saturday morning with the St. Patrick's day run, it wasn't a beautiful morning but it is such a fun run to do because Hannah gets to come along.
Couple things we learned:
1. When running with a stroller, do not start back with the walkers because it is very difficult to get back up to the runners and not run over walkers with the stroller.
2. Minimize the amount of items put into the stroller with Hannah because eventually they will be thrown out!
So even though we had to weave in and out of some walkers and stop to pick up a few mittens and toys, it was a great run and we felt good afterwards.
We couldn't let Chuck celebrate his birthday without a trip to Broad Ripple so Grandma and Grandpa Dodge were very kind and offered to babysit so we could celebrate. It was a really fun night, I hope Chuck enjoyed it! Happy 30th Birthday hun!
Like I said above I hope this fun weekend is just kicking off what is going to be a very fun and relaxing week. Wednesday is St. Patrick's day, my guess is we won't be doing a ton of celebrating because Thursday morning Chuck, Hannah and I are getting up bright and early to catch a flight to Florida. We are heading down there for 4 days of relaxing and lets not forget Mets spring training! Since Chuck had hockey this past weekend I couldn't really plan anything for his birthday so a trip to Florida and baseball the weekend after will just have to do!
Big News...
Well, as you know in November we sold our 1st home in wonderful Broad Ripple and since it was the holidays and the middle of winter Chuck's parents were very kind and let us stay with them so we could relax, enjoy the holidays and take our time finding a new home. Well, we have definitely taken our time and hopefully not worn out our welcome, but I think it was well worth it! It is official we are moving to the burbs, Fishers to be exact, probably Chucks worst nightmare for sure, but I do think we found an awesome house that was well worth the wait! It has tons of room for Hannah to run around in, a fenced in back yard for Rudy, a finished basement for Chuck and a fabulous kitchen for me! Hopefully the hard part is over (finding the house), we have to get through the inspection but if everything goes smoothly we are scheduled to close on April 7th and we plan to move April 10th!! We are currently accepting volunteers to help move!! Ha!

Running for the cure...
Well....Spring is just around the corner which means it is almost outdoor running season in Indianapolis and hard core training time for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon. This will be the sixth Indianapolis Mini Marathon that Chuck and I have participated in, some years have been better than others but every year as soon as we cross the finish line we know that we want to sign up for the next year. It is just such a fun and amazing event!
This year I have found a way to incorporate my run and training into a good cause. Breast Cancer hit home for me a few years ago when my mom was diagnosed with it, we have been very very fortunate, it was caught early and all has been well since. I have signed up to do the "Virtual Marathon" with Susan G. Komen and to try and raise at least $250 to be donated and help find a cure for breast cancer. I want to do my part to find a cure in hopes that I and most certainly Hannah never have to worry about this disease!
