Another first...
This one I didn't miss...Hannah is sick for the first time! I took her to the doctor on Monday because when I was getting her ready for daycare she had a rash on her belly, didn't seem to phase her but it phased me so we went to have it checked out. Turns out she has Hand-Foot-and-Mouth syndrome which explains the stuffy nose she has had since last Thursday. Anyways, this meant no daycare for at least a few days...thanks to Judy and Chuck we have been able to get through this first of many illnesses without totally screwing up our work schedules. Hannah, does not seem to be bothered by the rash part, she is not a fan of the stuffy nose and has learned to block mommy from suctioning the snot out, she turns her head when she sees me coming, quite funny!
Chuck and I have also managed to get a cold which should make running the mini even more interesting. My mom was in town this past weekend to help us with yard work (Thank you mom, the house looks amazing) so she watched Hannah while Chuck and I ventured into the almost 80 degree weather for an 8 mile run and I have to say it went much better than the 10 mile run that we did the week before. I am just hoping this cold doesn't ruin the run for us on Saturday morning!
Happy 5 Months!!!
Wow, how time flies!! Here is Hannah doing the 5 month dance!
Missed the first...
Well it is official, I missed the first time Hannah rolled over!! Yup, she did it at daycare, tummy to back!! I am just going to keep telling myself that she hasn't done it until I actuallly see it!
The weekend was good, well except for the 10 mile run we did that was supposed to be 11! (Sorry Chuck) I have to work really hard this week to get my legs ready for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon that is 11 days away! Yikes
Hannah will be 5 months old tomorrow, I really can't believe it has been 5 months, they have just flown by. It is just amazing to see how much she has changed, all the incredible things she can do now and how much more fun she makes our lives!
Easter is over...
I cannot belive that Easter is already over!! We had a great Easter, it was a beautiful weekend. Chuck and I were able to get an 8 mile training run in, which was interesting and we got a lot of play time in with Hannah which was wonderful.
The Easter Bunny visited Hannah a little early, she (Grandma Dodge) brought a really fun present for Hannah to play with and Chuck got to put it together after our 8 mile run! (He wasn't so happy!!) But the end result was totally worth it!
Sunday we went to church and a great brunch with Chucks parents and Amy....the Easter Bunny was there but Hannah was not quite sure what to think of him...
It really stinks, but not all that surprising that Hannah is the only one that looks good in this picture!! I had to post it though because you can actually see how cute she looked in her Easter dress!
We got some play time outside this weekend, Chuck did yard work and we kind of just hung out. Yes, Hannah is in Mets gear AGAIN (since they were playing) and I am sure Chuck is not so pleased with me since I have it mostly covered up and didn't get a great picture....I am sure she will have it on again so I am not all that worried!
We have been working on rice cereal on and off for about 3 weeks now, some days go better than others but it is always fun! Since Chuck has already begun the countdown to the 500 this picture is apporpriate!
Such a good weekend that just flew by, I guess they all do these days!!
